The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven sales professional to significantly grow our footprint and client base across the Americas by leading a team of three Business Development managers and also working as an individual contributor for a key territory in North America. 

This is an exciting time to join our business, with investment to build a best in class global commercial organisation. This critical leadership position will spearhead our transformation, create a high-performance culture and support our program globally.

The successful candidate will be adept at working as a player/coach, accountable for achieving sales revenue individually and through leading the team, while partnering with key stakeholders across the business to create strategies that deliver revenue growth.

This is a key role as a member of our Global Commercial Leadership team, reporting into the Global Head of Subscriptions - Economist Pro.

Key Priorities

  • Drive to achieve regional revenue targets for new business within your own territory, and by leading a team of 3 Business Development Managers
  • Implement and manage rigorous full cycle sales processes, ensuring clear line of sight to performance, forecasting and pipeline through effective metrics, reporting and dashboards
  • Create and sustain a performance culture that consistently exceeds the expectations of all stakeholders (employees, customers, shareholders) and maintain an environment that optimizes team and individual performance

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $140,000.00 - $180,000.00. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Rather, salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
