About the Opportunity & Team

This role sits within Teads Studio, our creative center of excellence.

At Teads Studio, we empower global brands to redefine digital advertising by combining data-driven insights with creative innovation. We are looking for a Junior Designer—a creative talent who can carry concepts from initial visual design through to working, production-ready, interactive ad units. Strong on design craft and comfortable enough in code to build, prototype, and ship end-to-end, you will serve as a vital bridge between design vision and technical execution on our team.

About the Role

  • Core Mission: Support the creation and build of high-performing, interactive video and display ad experiences across web and mobile ecosystems.
  • Team Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional Studio teams, strategists, and developers to bring brand and campaign visions to life.
  • Scope of Ownership: Deliver custom interactive creatives—from initial layout and motion design to light coding, prototyping, QA, and launch.
  • Impact Metric: Success in this role means executing pixel-perfect, production-ready ad formats on tight deadlines while maintaining high QA standards across all target platforms.

What You’ll Do

Design Craft & Motion

  • Translate brand guidelines and campaign concepts into engaging visual designs optimized for in-feed environments.
  • Craft sleek visual layouts applying core UI/UX fundamentals—composition, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Design fluid motion sequences, establishing precise timing, easing, and choreography for interactive creative assets.

Creative Development & Prototyping

  • Build responsive HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) layouts from existing templates and patterns without relying on heavy frameworks (React/Angular) to adhere strictly to publisher lightweight specs.
  • Repurpose & Analyze existing codebase patterns to quickly integrate, adjust, or tweak snippets for custom builds.
  • Prototype and ship simpler display and video experiences end-to-end, reducing handoffs.

Technical Standards & Quality Assurance

  • Configure campaign builds under the hood—managing scaffolding, assets, parameters, and tag structures.
  • Understand AdTech standards, including IAB specifications, VAST/VPAID video tags, and 3rd-party tracking pixels (1x1s, click tags).
  • Execute thorough QA testing across browsers, devices, and publisher environments to catch and fix technical issues before campaign go-live.

Innovation & AI Workflow

  • Leverage generative AI tools into daily workflows for both visual exploration and code assistance.
  • Bridge design and dev perspectives across the team, growing your technical skills while delivering polished creative work.

What Will You Bring to the Team?

Must-Haves (The Baseline Bar)

  • Core Experience: Foundational background in digital graphic design, UI/UX, or digital media.
  • Design Toolkit: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and After Effects).
  • Front-End Development: Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3 (animations/transitions), and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Format & Tech Literacy: Understanding of display vs. video formats, basic IAB standards, VAST/VPAID tags, and third-party tracking setup.
  • QA & Execution: Strong detail orientation with an eager mindset to test, troubleshoot, and optimize work across browsers and devices.

Nice-to-Haves (The Performance Multiplier)

  • Prior exposure to ad platforms, dynamic creative tools, or demo environments (e.g., Teads Studio).
  • Curiosity and hands-on familiarity using Generative AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) inside design and coding processes.

What You’ll Get

At Teads, your scope is bigger than your title. Here is what you can count on in return:

  • Meaningful scope & real ownership — work with global strategic impact and trusted autonomy.
  • Global exposure and genuinely complex challenges at real scale — 2.2Bn users / month and 18Bn ad opportunities / day.
  • Smart, ambitious peers across 30+ markets in a collaborative setup.
  • A genuinely human culture — high care alongside high accountability.
  • Real investment in your growth — structured mentorship, coaching, courses, workshops, certifications, and leadership development programs.

At Teads, your impact travels further.

The pay for this position is USD $60,000 annually including on target earnings. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Teads’ total rewards package.

Teads utilizes or may utilize artificial intelligence to assist in the screening and selection process to ensure an efficient and fair evaluation of candidates.
