We are looking for a hands-on, business-minded, and tech-forward Credit Manager to join our France Finance team. This is a central, high-impact role responsible for securing billing accuracy, optimizing cash collection, and supporting reliable financial reporting.

Beyond traditional credit management, this position is designed for a finance professional who is excited by process transformation, automation, and AI integration. You will play a crucial role in navigating the upcoming French e-invoicing reform, implementing cutting-edge tools, and automating repetitive tasks to scale our operations.

Growth Pathway: This role is positioned with immediate operational ownership, but with a clear, structured path to grow into broader finance controlling, cash forecasting, and business analysis responsibilities as you gain autonomy

What will you do?

1. Invoicing, Automation & AR Process

  • Smart Invoicing: Manage and monitor the end-to-end customer invoicing process for Teads France, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery through appropriate channels and customer portals.
  • Workflow Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and accelerate recurring invoicing workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Account Management, and Accounting teams to resolve invoicing blocks, customer claims, and billing disputes efficiently.
  • Data Reliability: Support the continuous documentation and quality improvement of AR and billing processes.

2. Credit Management, Cash Collection & AI Integration

  • Tech-Driven Collection: Monitor customer receivables and overdue balances, utilizing modern finance systems and exploring AI tools to automate reminders, predict payment trends, and optimize workflows.
  • Relationship Management: Follow up with customers and agencies firmly but constructively to ensure timely payments and improve DSO.
  • Risk Intelligence: Prepare clear aging reports, track collection updates, and flag potential payment risks early.

3. French E-Invoicing Reform & Transformation

  • System Implementation: Act as a key contributor to the deployment of the French e-invoicing reform for Teads.
  • Change Management: Support the transition to new e-invoicing tools (e.g.,PDP/OD platforms), setting up new automated controls and smarter ways ofworking.

4. Audit, Controls & Cash Support

  • Audit Readiness: Prepare clear documentation and analytical answers for internal and external auditors regarding AR balances and invoicing compliance.
  • Internal Controls: Support SOX compliance and contribute to monthly bad debt provision analysis.
  • Cash Visibility: Contribute to short-term cash forecasting and provide insights into major receivable movements.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Your skills and experiences:
    • Initial Experience: A first successful experience in credit management, customer invoicing, AR accounting, finance operations, or financial controlling.
    • Tech & Automation Mindset: Strong intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills (data manipulation) and comfort navigating modern ERP/finance software. A genuine appetite for trying new digital tools, AI prompts, or automation workflows to save time is highly valued.
    • Accounting Basics: A solid foundational understanding of customer receivables, aging balance impacts, and basic accounting principles.
    • Rigorous & Detail-Oriented: Highly organized, precise, and comfortable maintaining clear audit trails.
    • Languages: Native/fluent French with professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Bonus points:
    •  Experience or strong interest in digital media, advertising, or a fast-paced B2B tech environment.
    • Previous exposure to tools like Microsoft Dynamics, Planful, Basware, Pagero, or automated collection software.
    • Prior exposure to SOX compliance or structured internal control environments.
  • You connect with our values:
    • Relentless Customer Focus: You put customers at the heart of everything, building strong relationships, understanding customers needs, and making decisions that keep their perspective front and center.
    • Act Today, Not Tomorrow: You make smart decisions quickly, prioritize action over perfection, and keep things moving forward, even when things aren’t 100% clear.
    • Obsess About Outcomes: You’re outcome-driven, take ownership of your results, and work through challenges to deliver what really matters.
    • Evolve Through Change: You’re adaptable, curious, and see change as a chance to learn and improve. You evolve your skills to keep up and push ahead.
    • Human-driven, Powered by AI: While we use AI to drive performance, it’s our people who make the real difference. You bring empathy, collaboration, and a love of learning to everything you do.
