  • API Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of new features within the API layer, working with product teams to ensure efficient data access.
  • Platform Contribution: Own specific data platform components, proactively contributing technical improvements for scalability, future readiness, and alignment with Swap's long-term product vision.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Actively implement, apply, and champion data quality best practices to ensure the data is trustworthy and reliable.

  • Hands-on experience working in a Google Cloud Platform environment, specifically with core tools like BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse architectures and best practices.
  • Experience working with CI/CD technologies as part of a multi-developer team.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and articulate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience working with batch and stream data pipelines.
  • Experience with Shopify or e-commerce platforms/datasets is highly desirable.

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Stock options in a high-growth startup.
  • Competitive PTO with public holidays additional.
  • Private Health.
  • Pension.
  • Wellness benefits.
  • Breakfast Mondays.
