About The Role
We’re searching for a passionate Senior Technical Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. You’ll play a key role in building out our technical teams by identifying, attracting, and securing top engineering, product, and IT talent. This role is essential in shaping the future of our organization by ensuring we have the right people in place to drive innovation and deliver on critical business goals.
As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you’ll be responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and outreach to closing candidates and guiding them through the hiring journey. This position requires a proven track record in technical recruiting within fast-paced, high-growth environments, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to assess both technical skills and cultural fit.

What will you be doing?
- Own the end-to-end hiring process: source, screen, coordinate interviews, and deliver meaningful feedback — ensuring every candidate enjoys an outstanding experience with ShipMonk.
- Leverage your technical acumen to engage candidates credibly, evaluate skills effectively, and represent ShipMonk’s engineering culture authentically.
- Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to design and execute effective recruiting strategies, from pipeline planning to targeted outreach and community engagement.
- Act not just as an executor but as a trusted advisor — bringing fresh insights, recommending improvements, and driving initiatives that elevate our hiring success.
- Build and manage diverse talent pipelines: from exploring emerging tech markets and establishing international reach, to engaging universities and cultivating relationships with top developers.
- Activate our developer community: encourage participation in meetups, guide the creation of technical content, and foster authentic engagement with candidates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior developers, HR, the VP of Engineering, and Product Managers to deeply understand hiring needs and ensure seamless recruiting outcomes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to identify top talent and champion best-in-class recruiting practices.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of proven experience in full-cycle or technical recruiting, ideally within high-growth or fast-scaling environments.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and attracting top technical talent across multiple disciplines and geographies.
- Proficiency with recruiting systems and tools (experience with Asana, Greenhouse, and G-Suite is highly valued).
- A strategic mindset: ability to generate new ideas, optimize processes, and influence stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A true team player — collaborative, proactive, and eager to contribute to a culture of partnership within Talent Acquisition and HR.
