ShipMonk is seeking a strategic, data-driven senior leader to own and advance the business performance and continuous improvement of our B2B Fulfillment operations. In this high-impact role, you will spearhead initiatives that enhance scalability, optimize cost efficiency, and elevate service levels for our retail fulfillment network.

You will act as a key business owner across our B2B landscape, driving the product and process roadmap, championing improvements in forecasting accuracy, minimizing chargebacks, and delivering measurable operational and financial outcomes. With a strong foundation in process engineering and data analytics, you will collaborate cross-functionally with merchants, retail partners, operations, and engineering to deliver scalable logistics solutions tailored to top-tier retail clients.

This role is central to shaping our long-term fulfillment strategy, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring that our systems and processes align with the evolving demands of our retail ecosystem.

Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Own the long-term vision and roadmap for B2B fulfillment, aligned with ShipMonk’s strategic and operational goals
  • Design modular, scalable fulfillment capabilities that adapt across product types, retailers, and fulfillment centers
  • Lead process engineering initiatives that drive standardization and operational efficiency across the fulfillment network, with passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement control points, decision trees, and exception-handling logic to ensure repeatability and SLA compliance
  • Champion continuous improvement through structured process reviews, metrics tracking, and feedback loops with operations
  • Drive prioritization using fulfillment KPIs, cost-to-serve metrics, merchant behavior, and ROI analysis
  • Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, sales, account management, product and finance to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Leverage predictive analytics and historical data to inform capacity planning, inventory strategy, and automation opportunities
  • Build tools and visibility solutions for merchants and internal teams to monitor SLAs, exceptions, and order performance
  • Advocate for merchant needs through executive-level merchant engagement and competitive market analysis
  • Translate complex operational workflows into configurable, rules-based product features that reduce manual work
  • Represent the product function at the leadership level, contributing to strategic planning and business performance reviews
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering strategic thinking and executional excellence


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Process Management, Supply Chain, or related fields (required).
  • Proven experience in B2B business leadership, entrepreneurship, or executive roles
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or service delivery (industry-specific)
  • Proven track record of launching and leading multiple types of projects, from system-based improvements to process overhauls.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in building ROI and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Comfortable interfacing with executive leadership and technology teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or service delivery (industry-specific)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to travel 25%–50% of the time across operational sites and client locations.
