The Prague office is the center for the development of the company's modern platform. The company's systems integrate online tools, cloud applications, and warehouse automation management systems. The Systems Engineering team is responsible for all internal systems and their functionality. We are looking for a proactive and adaptable engineer who can handle challenges in a fast-paced environment and is committed to supporting team members and collaborating across departments.
What you will do:
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on support for employees in the Prague office and Cheb Warehouse by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Support more advanced requests, such as tool configurations and integrations, escalated from other IT team members.
- User Access & Resource Management: Manage user accounts, groups, and security settings in Google Workspace. Support advanced requests, such as domain verifications and custom sharing permissions, and troubleshoot other issues.
- Device Deployment & Security: Configure, set up, and enforce security policies for various devices, including MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android using MDM tools. You will coordinate new deployments and profile configurations with the wider IT team.
- Automation: Develop scripts to automate routine IT tasks, improve system efficiency, and reduce manual work.
- Collaboration: Work mostly with IT and HR teams in Prague and in the US to optimize system integrations and workflows.
- Facility Management: Communicate with building management regarding parking, events, the entrance system, invoicing, maintenance, reconstruction, and cleaning agency
- Onboarding/Termination: Manage a large part of the onboarding and termination processes for three locations (Prague, Cheb, UK), which includes handling tickets, access to tools, welcome packages, and hardware contracts.
- Office Management & Basic Support: Help with the travel coordination, insurance area, and coordinate with the external company for occupational Health and Safety, Purchase office supplies as needed.
What you will need:
- Knowledge of the principles of system administration.
- Experience with device enrollment, configuration, and security.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve common hardware, software, and network problems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to improve scripting skills and a passion for automation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle multiple administrative and logistical tasks.
- Experience with vendor and third-party management, particularly for facilities, cleaning, and insurance.
- A detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in onboarding, termination, and paperwork.
