The mission:
We are looking for a motivated Enterprise Account Executive Travel to create long-term business partnerships, specifically with Enterprise-level partners in Spain. The role is to build and grow travel and hospitality partnerships, actively seeking the optimization of our integration and to scale the generation of business opportunities. This role is based in Barcelona, where we’ll expect to see you at least three days per week, but as per our smartworking policy, we also allow you to work two remote days per week. Key responsibilities:
- Drive Enterprise strategy for new Travel and hospitality clients, territories and verticals: lead sales calls, business reviews, and recurring check-ins.
- Regularly generate new business opportunities, differentiates Scalapay's services by building custom sales pitches and presentations with case studies, industry data, and relevant research
- Manage the Go-Live of your merchants, negotiating the best UX for our customers and setting with the merchant, to achieve the highest possible Scalapay share of wallet
- Leverage relationships with the technology platforms, payment providers, marketing or revenue agencies, and key stakeholders in the travel and hospitality industry to generate revenue opportunities
- Identify new opportunities to optimize our offering and serve merchants with the full suite of our products: from custom projects to off-the-shelf products
- Collaborate closely with onboarding, integration, marketing and account management to optimize the sales cycle
- Work on improving a complete and complex sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signature with multi-interlocutors, while managing your sales pipeline in our CRM (Hubspot)
- Meet your partners face-to-face regularly via market visit, fairs, event and other activities
- Support your team and the overall strategy to continue positioning Scalapay as the pioneer in Buy Now, Pay Later for Travel
- Keep up to date with everything cool that's happening in the industry; think of yourself as the expert for innovation in the travel industry
Who We're Looking For
Must have
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant Enterprise consultative-selling, or business development experience within the Travel (Traveltech is a strong asset!), SaaS or Tech industries
- You have a native or near-native level of Spanish, and are comfortable working (especially writing) in English as it’s our work language inside Scalapay
- You have worked in the travel industry and possess some network in Spanish Tour Operators, OTAs, Hotel chains etc.
Nice to have
- CRM tools, LinkedIn and prospecting solutions have no secret for you
- You have already experienced a hyper growth startup environment
- You have been trained on value-selling/complex-selling methodologies focused on Enterprise sales cycles (knowledge of MEDDIC is an asset!)
