THE MISSION 

We are looking for a motivated Junior Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our merchant partners in Italy in the E-commerce industry.
The role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned merchant partners, actively seeking new sales and business opportunities with existing partners. Additionally, the Junior Account Manager will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, preparing and reporting key data points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the retention and growth of your assigned merchants through regular check-ins and business reviews;
  • Learn to provide consultancy to merchants on how to optimize revenue using our premium products (Affiliation and Media Packages);
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure a smooth Go-Live for new merchants and optimize their integration settings;
  • Help coordinate co-marketing activities to attract Scalapay’s audience, working closely with our internal Marketing team;
  • Use data to identify business opportunities and prepare sales presentations with relevant findings and research;
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and innovations, positioning yourself as an emerging expert in the BNPL space.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in the fintech and e-commerce industry with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Italian and English.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to use data to support arguments and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong desire to learn a structured Sales Process measured by KPIs and Leading Indicators.
  • 1+ year of experience in account management, sales, or internships within the digital/e-commerce sector.

Hiring process

  1. A quick chat with one of our Talent Acquisition team members;
  2. A first interview with the Head of Key Account Management to deep dive into your attitude and motivation;
  3. A case study to test your hard skills, that will be debriefed with your Manager and VP Growth;
  4. A final chat with Simone (our CEO) where he will share and assess the Scalapay Values.
