Your Tasks

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Build, crimp, solder, term­inate, route, and label wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to schematics and IPC/MIL‑STD‑620 standards
  • Installation & Integration: AIT activities like Install harnesses, securing proper routing, shielding, strain relief, and connectivity
  • Testing & Verification: Perform continuity, functional, and electrical check‑outs using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and dedicated test fixtures; document results in ERP/work‑order systems
  • Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation: Read and work from wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, GD&T layouts, BOMs, and controlled documentation
  • Quality Control & Inspection: Apply visual/mechanical inspections and ESD protocols to ensure harness reliability and adherence to aerospace-grade standards
  • Process Support & Improvement: Contribute to process development, tooling trials, and first-article builds; collaborate with engineering to optimize assembly efficiency and tooling procedures
  • Documentation & ERP Recording: Record build details, test data, and quality findings accurately in ERP systems and official documentation.
  • Workflow Management: Track work progress against benchmarks, identify and escalate blockers, and ensure timely completion of assembly tasks

Your Qualifications

  • Education & Training: Completed apprenticeship or formal training as an electrician, electronics technician, or a related discipline
  • Work Experience: Experience in wire harness assembly, cable fabrication, or electro-mechanical manufacturing; aerospace, aviation, defense, or motorsport experience is a strong plus
  • Assembly Expertise: Hands-on experience in building electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies with precision and quality control
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Strong proficiency in using common test and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Technical Documentation: Ability to document complex systems accurately, ensuring clarity and traceability for future reference.
  • Standards & Documentation: Knowledge of IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards; ability to read/write technical drawings, BOMs, cable lists, and work instructions
  • Problem-Solving & Independence: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an independent and goal-oriented approach to work.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both oral and written English, with the ability to perform all day-to-day activities in an English-speaking environment.
