About the Team

Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Intern (m/f/d) Systems Engineering. Do you want to revolutionize space travel in New Space? Then you've come to the right place.

Your Tasks

  • Draft and manage piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and power and signal diagrams (P&SDs) for vehicle and launch site.
  • Formulate and document requirements for launch vehicle and launch site systems.
  • Support verification and validation (V&V) activities and ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements.
  • Trade-off architecture decisions and perform risk analysis (FMEA, FMECA, and FTA) for critical systems.
  • Help maintain, and document internal software, and develop tools in Python.
  • Coordinate between different teams to solve multi-disciplinary technical problems.

Your Qualifications

 

  • Currently in Bachelors or Masters in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Passionate about rocketry.
  • Demonstrated practical/hands-on experience in design projects or student teams (Rockets/UAVs/Automotive).
  • Experience designing / operating fluid systems is ideal.
  • Working knowledge of launcher/aerospace systems, systems engineering processes, V&V, and risk analysis.
  • Comfortable with object-oriented programming in Python, experience using Git for software version control.
  • Fluent English, oral and written. Able to communicate complex topics in a clear and simple manner.
