Major Responsibilities
M&A LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT
- Source and prioritise strategic targets through sector deep-dives, competitive intelligence and market signal analysis to maintain a robust deal funnel.
- Lead the full deal lifecycle from origination to term sheet negotiation, ensuring rigorous project management and adherence to deal theses.
- Drive post-merger integration (PMI) governance by developing integration roadmaps and continually refining playbooks for value realisation.
INVESTMENT ANALYSIS & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Structure comprehensive investment cases with business plans supported by valuation work and financial modelling.
- Monitor portfolio performance against financial KPIs and strategic objectives; prepare management reports to the Board and recommend remediation actions where applicable.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT & INVESTOR RELATIONS
- Partner with C-suite and functional leads to drive strategic initiatives in alignment with the growth strategy.
- Act as key liaison to external advisors, including investment banks, legal counsel and consultants, coordinating development of teasers, CIMs, investment memoranda and data-room management.
- Lead investor communications through ownership of quarterly updates.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related filed; MBA, CFA, or equivalent, preferred.
- 10+ years in corporate development, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity.
- Proven track record executing M&A transactions and post-merger integrations.
- Expertise in financial modelling and valuation techniques with strong proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong strategic thinking, market research and business case development capabilities.
- Extensive experience in leading complex, multi-functional projects and delivering measurable business results.
- High level of adaptability, resilience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
