Senior Product Manager 

Permanent Full Time

About the Role 

We are on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Product Leader who dreams of creating solutions our customers adore and making waves in the maritime industry. As the captain of a team of brilliant Product Managers, you'll skilfully navigate the balance between customer value and business benefit. You'll collaborate with talented individuals across our business and industry to uncover opportunities and deliver products that truly make an impact.  

This isn't just about steering the ship; you'll also dive into the action, rolling up your sleeves to get things done. If you thrive on blending strategic thinking with hands-on execution, this role is your perfect adventure! 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Leadership: Mentor a high-performing team of product managers, guided by product vision, strategy, and roadmaps. Ensure the team has clear objectives and is equipped and enabled to succeed. 
  • Strategy: Oversee/conduct market research and leverage customer feedback to inform product decisions. Identify opportunities to evolve product strategy and roadmaps with clear business cases and ROI. 
  • Delivery: Oversee the delivery of product opportunities. Formulate GTM strategies for successful product launches and market penetration. At times, drive execution of GTM for more complex opportunities. 
  • Metrics: Define and track KPIs, regularly communicate product metrics, and manage follow-up actions. Analyse product performance for continuous improvement. Manage product budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support for successful product and GTM execution. Partner with commercial teams and executives to deliver impactful solutions. Support the CPO as the product team's voice internally and externally. 

Skills and Knowledge 

  • A highly experienced and strategic leader, motivated and resilient, with a proven track record in scaling SaaS products to success. Exceptional in guiding product vision, strategy, and team development. 
  • Experience: 7+ years in senior product management roles with extensive experience in end-to-end product and lifecycle management. 
  • Strategic Leadership: Expert in driving and aligning actions with business goals and overarching product strategy with proven ability to develop and execute long-term product visions. 
  • Commercial Savvy: Deep understanding of market dynamics with a strong focus on revenue generation and profitability. 
  • People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing product management teams. Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to foster robust customer relationships. 
  • Analytical Abilities: Expertise in data analysis, deriving actionable insights, and impact modelling to inform decision-making. 
  • Technical Expertise: Significant experience collaborating with technical teams, with a strong foundation in technical knowledge. 
  • Adaptability: High resilience and capability to navigate and lead through ambiguity and change. 
  • Research Skills: Advanced proficiency in market research and sensing to accurately understand and anticipate customer needs and market trends.
