Sales Director, UK/EMEA

As the Director of Sales at PolyAI, you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy, expanding our customer base, and ensuring revenue growth within EMEA + UK. You will lead two professionals with potential to expand the team, establish strong relationships with key clients, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with PolyAI's business goals and market opportunities
    • Define and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics
    • Continuously assess market trends and competitive landscape to adapt and refine the sales approach
  • Team Leadership
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales members as we expand our Europe and UK presence 
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the sales organization
    • Provide guidance and coaching to maximize the team's potential
    • Ensure team is enabled on product, industry landscape and internal process
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
    • Understand customer needs, challenges, and pain points to tailor solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they realize the full value of PolyAI's solutions
    • Work closely with Customer Success to deliver high renewal and upsell rates
  • Revenue Generation
    • Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas with strong linearity
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
    • Negotiate and close complex, high-value deals
    • Realize a high participation rate across team
  • Market Analysis and Insights
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies in the conversational AI space
    • Utilize market insights to inform product development and sales strategies
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Implement robust sales reporting and analytics tools to track performance and provide regular reports to the executive team
    • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize sales processes
We’d love it if you have:
  • Experience selling Contact Center/Customer Experience solutions to enterprise level organizations
  • Fluency in more than one language
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience with AI solutions in the contact center or customer experience space
  • Experience selling direct to customers and via alliances/channel partnerships
  • History of achieving quota as a leader and individual contributor
  • Knowledge of industry landscape
  • Experience selling on technical and value differentiators
