As an AML/CTF Quality Assurance Analyst at Payhawk, you will be responsible for executing the Company’s AML/CTF QA policy, ensuring regulatory compliance with internal policies, laws, and best practices. Providing feedback to AML teams on identified gaps will be your key responsibility. You will work closely with the QA team and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the AML/CTF Quality Assurance Procedure within Payhawk.
- Carry out QA operations for onboarding, ongoing due diligence (ODD), transaction monitoring, fraud, sanction/PEP screening, and other operational processes within the AML teams.
- Provide regular feedback to AML analysts and their Team Leads.
- Work closely with the QA team and other key stakeholders to improve the quality.
- Identify root causes of low quality and suggest process improvements.
- Be involved in other compliance and AML teams initiatives.
- Foster an overall compliance culture within the Company.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of quality assurance experience in AML/CTF operations.
- Experience and knowledge in onboarding, ODD, transaction monitoring, fraud, sanction/PEP screening, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Capability to provide constructive feedback.
- Ability to work autonomously in uncertain environments.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Law, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong analytical skills, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
