About the Role

We are looking for an extraordinary BI analyst to help build the financial system of tomorrow. You will be responsible for gathering information, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on established business and operation KPIs, offerings, and initiatives. You will serve a critical role as a trusted business advisor to one of our internal departments.

Responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain operational and product KPI definitions out of high-level business requirements
  • Support team members and stakeholders with clear documentation and ability to drill-down and explain metrics, dimensions and KPIs.
  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy by defining and executing QA automation and reconciliation processes
  • Build analytical and statistical data models to provide additional research and insights based on high-level business requirements
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for reporting or data warehouse enhancements
  • Train stakeholders on understanding and using the BI tools as a self-service
  • Create data tools for business departments that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader
  • Contribute to the overall BI and data strategy for the department and potentially the wider organization.
  • Lead and manage complex, cross-functional BI projects from conception through to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

Requirements 

  • Strong data analytical background - at least 4+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with BI reporting tools - preferably Tableau
  • Experience defining requirements for Software or Data Engineers
  • Experience designing and running SQL queries, mapping and reconciling data sources, and tracing data issues. Knowledge of BigQuery is a plus
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on business results and processes based on collected data to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience leading, influencing, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders,  with an ability to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and persuasively
  • Experience with banking and/or financial KPIs & concepts is a plus
  • Experience with statistical and data modelling is a plus
  • Еxperience with Python is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
