The Role
We are looking for a craft-led Mid-Senior Level Designer with a strong visual design background to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role that offers a unique opportunity to flex your visual design skills across marketing and branding while expanding into the world of UI and product design. You will be reporting to our Product Design Lead and working closely with our Head of Brand to create visually compelling designs that bring our brand to life across all mediums, from print to digital. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, self-starting, and bursting with creative ideas. We work strategically so this candidate will also need to confidently optimise their work using performance data and constant feedback from different stakeholders.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about brand identity and visual storytelling, while eager to grow their expertise in UI design and product design systems. Your time will roughly be split 3 days a week working on marketing and offline service design, 2 days on UI for our online products.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
Marketing and Brand
- Print Design: Develop high-quality marketing collateral, including print materials, social media assets, email campaigns, and advertising visuals, ensuring that designs are aligned with brand guidelines and engage the target audience effectively.
- Digital Design: Design digital assets for websites, email campaigns, social media, banners, and digital advertising, optimising visuals for various digital platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
- Be creative: You’ll be a big part of our ever-evolving look and feel, encouraged to push boundaries and bring innovation. You’ll be a respected brand guardian.
- Work closely with the marketing team and agencies to ensure all creative assets are aligned with the brand’s vision and messaging across all channels.
- Support the design of seasonal and promotional campaigns, working with a variety of assets from photography to typography, colour schemes, illustrative tool kits and layout design.
UI
- Design user interfaces for our online products, focusing on both visual and functional excellence. Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and channels, from marketing campaigns to product experiences.
- Collaborate with the Product Design Lead to contribute to the evolution of our design system, creating scalable and reusable components.
- Expand your skill set by diving into UI-focused projects, learning about design systems, and understanding user states and interactions.
- Partner with senior designers and developers to gain hands-on experience in UI/UX design and implementation.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketers to ensure seamless alignment between marketing initiatives and product design.
- Present ideas, prototypes, and designs to stakeholders and effectively incorporate feedback.
- Collaborate with the Head of Brand to evolve and maintain the brand’s visual identity across all touch-points.
Who Are You?
Must Haves:
- 4+ years of experience in graphic design, ideally with exposure to both marketing and branding projects.
- A strong portfolio showcasing visual design skills across a variety of mediums (e.g., print, digital, online campaigns).
- You're creative, bursting with ideas, but with the focus to execute them and bring them to life to a high standard.
- You understand the ‘why’ before diving into the creative.
- You’re able to manage your time, flex to different teams and are used to meeting tight deadlines. You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience or interest in UI/UX design, with a willingness to learn about design systems and product design principles.
- Proficient in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign etc) and Figma
- A keen eye for detail, colour, typography, and composition.

Nice to Haves:
- Skills in illustration and motion design are a big plus as we look to create more dynamic, engaging visuals for our brand
- Experience working with UI design systems and component library, or contributing to UI/UX projects.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for collaboration with developers.
