Event Manager & Personal Assistant (all genders)

Join us as a Event Manager & Personal Assistant (all genders) in our Autonomous Driving Test Operations team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!
The Autonomous Driving Test Operations team is responsible for real-world testing activities of our self-driving vehicles in Europe and the United States.
In addition to the testing as part of the product development, the team runs testing and demonstration events that create unique experiences that bring autonomous driving to life for future customers.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join us in a dual role: Event Manager & Personal Assistant.
As an Event Manager you will become part of the global event team that hosts demo ride and product events for high-profile stakeholders — from politicians and authorities to VIPs and internal decision-makers.
As a Personal Assistant you will work directly with the Senior Vice President for Test Operations (and his leadership team) on organizational and administrative projects of our business unit.
The role is based in Hamburg, where most events take place, with occasional travel within Germany, Europe, and the US.
What you will do
Part 1: Event Manager – Autonomous Driving Demos & Events
- Plan and execute demo ride and product presentation events in close collaboration with the product and tech teams at our Hamburg location, ensuring every detail runs smoothly.
- Coordinate all aspects of the event: scheduling, logistics, venue setup, and on-site execution.
- Prepare spaces for workshops, presentations, and networking — from meeting rooms to transforming a workshop hall into a mini expo.
- Keep track of timelines while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Handle pre-event briefings, as well as post-event reporting and lessons learned.
- Manage the booking and logistics of exhibition and trade show vehicles, which are deployed almost weekly for events.
- Create a monthly Newsflash to showcase our events internally and strengthen awareness.
Part 2: Personal Assistant to the SVP Test Operations
- Manage the day-to-day schedule of the SVP, including meeting coordination and travel bookings.
- Handle administrative and organizational tasks such as SAP data entries and documentation.
- Support cross-departmental organizational and administrative topics in collaboration with department leads.
- Contribute to internal projects and process improvements within the Test Operations organization.
What will help you to fulfill your role
- Proven experience in event management, project management, or a comparable role
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- High level of flexibility and improvisation skills — every event is different.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Business-level fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel
