Inventory Operative

The Inventory Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and supporting inventory management processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by performing tasks such as receiving, counting, sorting, and recording incoming and outgoing products.
- Data Entry: Accurately input data into inventory management systems, ensuring that all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Quality Control: Inspect and report any damaged or defective items, ensuring that only quality products are received and shipped.
- Stocking and Replenishing: Replenish inventory as needed and organize products to maximize storage space efficiently.
- Cycle Counting: Participate in periodic cycle counts to verify the accuracy of inventory levels and identify discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders accurately and preparing them for shipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and company policies for handling inventory, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Inventory Supervisor and other team members to meet daily inventory goals and respond to urgent inventory needs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment and tools used in inventory operations are in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
What we are looking for....
- Previous experience in inventory management or related fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as operate material handling equipment (training provided).
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively with team members.
