About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead a complex, multi-stream government data infrastructure modernization initiative. This is a high-visibility, client-facing role requiring strong technical fluency, program and cost/schedule management expertise, and the ability to align engineering teams and government stakeholders around shared goals and deliverables.
You will serve as the primary bridge between our internal engineering teams and senior government leaders, ensuring milestones are met and performance remains on track across multiple workstreams.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and deliver large-scale technical programs for government clients, overseeing scope, cost, and schedule performance.
- Coordinate across four or more technical workstreams, tracking progress and ensuring delivery against defined milestones.
- Interface directly with senior government program leaders to communicate performance, timelines, and technical progress.
- Work directly with Invisible’s Field CTOs on technical implementation of the program and the SVP of Global Public Sector regarding program performance and milestone achievement
- Lead internal engineering syncs and daily scrums to ensure alignment across engineering, product, and delivery teams.
- Maintain detailed program documentation and performance tracking for both internal and government reporting requirements.
- Serve as the central point of contact between senior Invisible leadership and customer program sponsors.
- Create remediation plans in response to underperformance or delivery risk and manage execution with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
What We Need
- 10+ years of technical leadership experience in U.S. government programs, ideally in defense.
- Proven success managing multiple large contracts or workstreams, ideally 15–20 concurrent programs valued between $1M–$10M, or large single programs over $50M.
- Strong experience with cost and schedule performance tracking in government contracting environments, including Firm Fixed Price Contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to work with engineering teams and communicate technical outcomes to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience interfacing with senior government customers and driving high-trust relationships in sensitive environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high performing teams across milestone accomplishment ideally with teams of over 20 people.
- Understanding of AI applications and modern data infrastructure.

For this position, the annual salary ranges by location are:
Tier 1: $156,000 - $183,000
Tier 2: $141,000 - $166,000
Tier 3: $127,000 - $149,000
An Invisible Talent Acquisition Partner can provide more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay tiers during the interview process. For candidates outside the U.S., compensation will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions and cost-of-living differentials.
Bonuses and equity are included in offers above entry level. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-related experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions.
