About The Role

An exceptional opportunity for an experienced and strategically-minded lawyer to lead an employment and labor law practice within a dynamic, hyper-growth technology company. Collaborating with our Head of Legal, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in steering a world-class employment framework that supports our expanding international presence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Invisible’s global employment, labor, and compliance strategy
  • Spearhead the Future of Work in AI through scaling talent marketplaces, navigating U.S. and international employment law and compliance
  • Actively counsel teams cross-functionally to maintain our gold-standard to marketplace compliance 
  • Drive and maintain our global labor compliance framework that enables seamless proactive adjustments in response to evolving regulations across jurisdictions
  • Leverage your deep expertise in talent marketplaces, agile workforce programs, and enterprise solutions to drive diverse and high-quality talent at scale.

What We Need

  • Deep Expertise in International Employment and Labor Law: Possess a thorough understanding of complex labor and tax regulations across various jurisdictions, crucial for managing compliance in a multinational landscape.
  • Proven Compliance Experience: deep experience developing and executing effective labor compliance strategies within multinational corporations.
  • Innovative mindset, roll-up your sleeves mentality: Looking for a true legal thought partner - this role will provide the requisite individual with autonomy to lead, build, innovate, and drive a worldwide market-leading solution to complex international marketplace, talent, and mobility situations. There is no ‘too big’ with this role, the right individual will completely own this practice, the solutions and global implementation.   
  • Analytical and Strategic Acumen: Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to engage in high-level strategic planning and execution, particularly in dynamic and fast-paced environments, dealing with stakeholders across all verticals of our business. 
  • Exceptional Communication and Instructional Skills: Outstanding ability to communicate complex legal and tax concepts clearly and effectively, coupled with the skills to develop and facilitate engaging training sessions for diverse audiences.
  • Industry Insight: Familiarity with the tech-enabled services sector, including understanding the unique labor marketplace dynamics and associated regulatory challenges, is essential.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in employment and/or labor law, and experience working on international talent mobility

For this position, the annual salary ranges by location are:

Tier 1

$269,000 - $286,000 USD

Tier 2

$245,000 - $260,000 USD

Tier 3

$220,000 - $234,000 USD

An Invisible Talent Acquisition Partner can provide more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay tiers during the interview process. For candidates outside the U.S., compensation will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions and cost-of-living differentials.

Bonuses and equity are included in offers above entry level. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-related experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions. Because of this, every offer is unique. Additional details on total compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
