Main Purpose

The main purpose of the Partnerships Manager is to generate new agency partnerships for Indeed Flex, secure new contracts, and support the Partnerships Team in growing the business.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop new business opportunities through a mix of professional networking methods.
  • Build a strong pipeline of fully qualified opportunities within the desired client market.
  • Proactively source your own new business partnerships.
  • Work with mid-market and marketing as appropriate to promote and convert the sales pipeline.
  • Delivering confident, well-researched, and individually tailored sales presentations to prospective client senior management.
  • Develop pre-sales materials i.e. proposals, client presentations, and case study documents.
  • Sharing of industry best practices with clients to maximize the value of our solutions and services.
  • Negotiating commercials and contractual agreements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in supplier relationship management or procurement would be advantageous, as would experience in the recruitment industry.
  • Driven and focused, comfortable working in a target-oriented environment.
  • Strong tech platform presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of contractual language and how to manage conversations between legal teams.
  • Have demonstrated experience driving growth and relational value.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Confident and professional manner and excellent written skills, with the ability to adapt message style and content according to the audience, building rapport and engagement.
  • Off the charts organizational and prioritization skills, exceptional attention to detail, including a proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously. You’ll be able to work methodically under pressure and to deadlines.
  • A successful, energetic self-starter with strong initiative and work ethic.
  • A high level of integrity; always focused on long-term success without losing sight of the finer details.
  • A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative when required.
  • Data-driven, using data to inform decisions, able to handle complex information with accuracy and attention to detail, using analytical skills to identify patterns, gaps/errors, and opportunities.
  • Tech-savvy and able to use a variety of platforms; proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite is preferred.
What the job involves:
  • Reporting to the Partnerships Team Manager, the Partnerships Manager's role is to source and secure new agency relationships to meet the temporary labor needs of key client accounts at the enterprise level and manage existing supplier relationships and recently engaged agency partners.
  • We’re looking for an experienced relationship manager who can help support and drive our growth by forming and maintaining strategic relationships with agency partners to help expand the national coverage of flexible staffing our clients require.
  • Take ownership of communication with Indeed Flex agency partners by answering questions, issue management, and dispute resolution, ensuring supply relationships run smoothly, and executing strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with the Partnerships Development Manager to close new agency relationships, picking up once handed over at the appropriate stage in the cycle and maintaining involvement to ensure agency engagement during handover
  • Understanding the Flex+ and Agency Portal proposition to a Subject Matter Expert level.
  • Onboarding new agencies following onboarding processes and adhering to timelines, including contract management, portal training, client briefings, collating compliance documentation, coverage mapping, and ensuring onboarding documentation, including rate cards, training material, and client briefings, are regularly updated.
  • Establish rapport and build relationships with agency partners to monitor and maximize engagement, compliance, and adherence to processes.
  • Develop open and honest relationships with agency partners that encourage trust and transparency, with scheduled regular communication with integral agency partners, ensuring ongoing dialogue.
  • Holding agencies accountable for performance levels, proactively monitoring agency partner performance using Agency and Client dashboards regularly on Tableau, identifying and addressing issues with fulfillment and demand, and escalating where necessary both to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leading on client implementation and new supply requirements, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to build knowledge on client accounts and maximize fulfillment and performance on key accounts.
  • Share agency partner updates and performance with the internal departments.
  • Creating, implementing, and refining new processes to enable agency supply on new accounts.
  • Create and deliver training presentations for agency suppliers, effectively communicating demand, briefing new and existing agencies on projects, and forecasting upcoming client requirements.
  • Interim escalation points both internally and externally, take an impartial view and reach a fair conclusion when there is a dispute or misunderstanding by effectively liaising with the client and internal departments to resolve the situation, escalating and seeking advice where appropriate and necessary.
  • Reviewing and analyzing agency feedback and issue log, identifying areas for improvement within our service, escalating any issues to relevant areas of the business and presenting solutions.
