Senior Product Designer
Banking is moving out of banks and becoming a part of customers’ daily digital lives. Inbank’s financing solutions are embedded seamlessly into the shopping journey of 5,000+ retailers. This helps our merchant partners to grow their businesses while end customers get to benefit from a frictionless shopping experience wherever they are. As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape the user experience of Inbank’s channels and products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead the design and evolution of a cohesive design system, creating seamless, user-centred experiences from concept to iteration. Your work will directly impact user engagement, ensuring clarity, trust, and accessibility. You will champion design thinking and lead continuous product improvement based on user feedback and data.
What you will be doing
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to define product vision, roadmaps and strategy, balancing user needs, business objectives, technical constraints and time-to-market.
- Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
- Design end-to-end flows, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes for intuitive and engaging experiences across platforms, aligned with Inbank’s CVI and brand guidelines.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, UX writer and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and user-focused solutions.
- Continuously refine designs using feedback, data analysis and usability testing to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop, maintain and evangelize a scalable design system that ensures consistency in user experience, efficiency and accessibility.
- Champion user-centred design principles, mentor other designers and educate cross-functional teams on the value of design.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and relevant regulatory requirements.
You will be successful when you have
- At least 3+ years of demonstrable product design experience, preferably in highly regulated industries, with a portfolio showcasing user-centered design and a proven ability to deliver outcomes that meet user needs and contribute to business goals.
- Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and a strong understanding of interaction/visual design and accessibility (WCAG) to create intuitive, engaging and accessible products that enhance user satisfaction and UX consistency.
- Proven ability to conduct and synthesize user research (including usability and A/B testing) and data analysis to inform data-driven decisions that increase user adoption, engagement and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to articulate design rationale, influence stakeholders and contribute to product strategy, ensuring alignment and impactful solutions that benefit both customers and the business.
- Experience with design systems and agile development to ensure scalable, consistent and efficient design processes that lead to faster time to market and a cohesive user experience.
- Familiarity with fintech industry trends and banking systems or a strong interest in learning about them, is a plus
