Pricing & Revenue Operations Manager (f/m/d)

This position is based in Munich, Germany.
As a Pricing & Revenue Operations Manager, you own the operational backbone for pricing and revenue processes. Reporting to the VP Commercial Operations, you execute pricing models and maintain accurate price lists, govern discounting and approvals, manage CRM pricing metadata and quoting workflows, lead Territory Management rollout, administer the sales compensation platform, and provide reporting/forecasting inputs as the interface to FP&A.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing operations and modeling
- Maintain price lists and product catalog in our CRM, quotes, and contracts.
- Own & drive further automation in pricing and discounting set up in CRM
- Build and run pricing/margin models by product and customer; execute controlled pricing experiments.
- Define discount guardrails and approval workflows; coordinate commercial clauses with Legal.
- Own CRM configuration for pricing fields, product catalog/SKUs, price books, validation rules, quote templates.
- Orchestrate quote-to-cash data integrity and reconciliations with Finance/ERP; establish data governance.
- Administer the generic sales compensation platform: plan setup, quotas, crediting rules, SPIFFs; run monthly/quarterly calculations and dispute handling.
Territory Management rollout
- Design territories, coverage rules, and assignment logic in our CRM, and maintain them.
- Partner with Sales Leadership on capacity planning, routing, and performance dashboards.
Reporting, forecasting, and FP&A interface
- Own ARR/MRR, bookings, pipeline, renewal, and expansion forecasting inputs; reconcile CRM vs. Finance.
- Design and maintain lead to order and maintain order to cash dashboards; manage driver-based models for forecast quality.
- Serve as FP&A’s primary GTM interface for budgeting cycles, scenario planning, and variance analysis.
Enablement and governance
- Train Sales and Customer Success teams on pricing rationale, quoting workflows, territories, and compensation policies.
- Document processes and change control; run audits for data quality and compliance
Preferred Experience
- Extensive experience in pricing operations and modeling, with a focus on automation and data integrity.
- Strong analytical skills for building and managing pricing/margin models and executing controlled pricing experiments.
- Expertise in CRM configuration and management, particularly in pricing metadata and quoting workflows.
- Experience in territory management, including design, implementation, and maintenance processes.
- Proficient in administering sales compensation platforms, including setup, calculations, and dispute resolution.
- Skilled in financial reporting and forecasting, with experience interfacing with FP&A for budgeting and planning.
- Ability to train and guide sales teams on pricing rationale, quoting workflows, territories, and compensation policies.
- Strong organizational skills for documenting processes, change control, and conducting audits for compliance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with a goal-oriented mindset, capable of handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Fluent English is necessary. Additional French or German are a plus.
