WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

As a global outsourcing company experiencing rapid growth, technology is central to our strategy. Technology will enable the development of global operational and commercial platforms that smoothen the path to greater scale and the delivery of compelling experiences for our people and clients. This role will architect and execute technology solutions that enable us to achieve excellence at scale. 

 

The Head of Product, Technology, & Tools, will be responsible for the establishment of a business technology solutions capability across Hugo’s global business. This role is critical for the delivery of seamless, intuitive experiences for our prized employees and the development of new product and service models for our demanding and exacting clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Build functional capability, including teams, processes, and policies 
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance operational or commercial performance using technology 
• Lead a team that develops detailed solution architectures that address identified problems and/or opportunities 
• Evaluate whether to develop technology solutions in-house or procure them from external vendors, considering factors such as cost, time, scalability, and sustainability 
• Prioritize solutions to maximize value to the business and maintain a flexible implementation roadmap
• Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of technology solutions, coordinating efforts between in-house teams and external resources
• Identify and collaborate with external vendors and partners, managing relationships and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement technology strategy and solutions 
• Efficiently allocate resources, both human and technical, to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines
• Build and manage data capability including data architecture, analysis, modeling, and visualization
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make recommendations for further improvements or optimization

Experiences

• Experience as a business leader familiar with setting up a function; preferably in leading multinational companies, including startups and scaleups
• Proven experience in technology or software solutions architecture; product management experience will be beneficial
• Experience successfully designing and deploying technology products and services 
• Experience shaping and executing business strategy and achieving exceptional results
• Demonstrable project management, organizational and management reporting skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required
