Senior Social Content Executive
OVERVIEW:
Are you our next Senior Social Content Executive? We’re looking for someone to join our social team to create world class content and campaign plans. Your purpose in this role is to be the driving force behind the creation of innovative and impactful content for our channels. You will also support with wider social content plans for the Gymshark brand, including campaigns, events and reactive content creation.
This role will be part of the wider social department at Gymshark. You will be part of the Social Content team who are responsible for content creation and channel management, reporting into the Social Content Manager. You will work closely with your colleague across Social Community and Social Strategy as well as the wider Brand department, to deliver a truly holistic experience for our followers.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Overseeing the daily content planning and execution across assigned social media channels, ensuring the impact of our social content impact is front and centre of mind.
- Scheduling, creating and posting content across your assigned channel (s).
- Working with our creative, production, brand and product teams to create social first content to promote our products, events and brand campaigns, with a strong ability to weave in trends in a brand friendly way.
- Content guardian, working closely with our strategy team to ensure that we are continually evolving our approach and adopting a ‘testing’ culture.
- Project managing brand campaigns, events and product releases (From a Social Media POV), by working closely with the wider team and stakeholders to determine how best to maximise impact
- Writing briefs for our creative team, ensuring that we are consistently updating our approach on our social channels to reflect the most up-to-date trends, pushing the creative boundaries while always aligning to the Gymshark’s brand.
- Ensure that all execution deadlines are adhered to.
- Own and manage your assigned channel(s) content calendar, ensuring that the wider team has full visibility of upcoming content
- Represent the social team in meetings, ensuring that takeaway messages are turn into actions
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a social media content role.
- Experience creating content for social channels; TikTok and Instagram experience highly desired.
- Strong familiarity and understanding the social media landscape and the latest trends and formats to deliver engagement on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat.
- Proven track record in delivery of KPI driven results
- Highly organised and impeccable attention to detail. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a proven track record delivering KPI driven results
- Strong sense of responsibility, takes ownership, self-starter and proactive attitude
- You are a naturally curious thinking, self-driven character with a passion for understanding customers and meeting their needs
- Creative problem solver with the ability to think laterally and understand the cost and value drivers within a competitive business environment
- Agile to change and pragmatic. Collaborative team player, comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment where identifying needs, providing solutions and adding value is a prerequisite
- Strong communicator with the ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences
- Experience with Photoshop, Premier Pro, CapCut.
WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:
- Experience writing briefs for content creators and agencies.
- Experience using Sprinklr or other social media marketing scheduling tools.
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
