Talent Acquisition Manager

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic TA team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead end-to-end recruitment across a wide range of vacancies but also get involved with broader TA Team projects to continue our transformation journey.  You’ll work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to shape recruitment strategies, build strong talent pipelines, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. In our fast-paced and collaborative environment, we support each other during busy periods, flex our approach when needed, and celebrate wins together. Ideally you'll have experience of directly sourcing for leadership and niche positions within the fashion and apparel industry. 

 


What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Recruitment Strategy & Execution: Develop and deliver tailored hiring strategies across Design, Commercial, Digital, Supply Chain, and Corporate functions as required.
  • Senior Leadership & Niche Skills Sourcing: Lead direct sourcing efforts for senior leadership and/or hard to recruit roles, identifying and engaging high-caliber candidates.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and deliver effective, timely recruitment solutions.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain proactive pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless, inclusive, and professional experience from first contact through onboarding.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance recruitment processes using data, insights, and technology (including AI).
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion inclusive hiring practices and ensure diverse candidate slates for every search.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide insights on talent trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity.
  • Employer Branding: Help promote Gymshark’s employer brand through strategic role promotion and storytelling.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider People and TA team, supporting each other during peak times and contributing to a positive, high-performing culture.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, including direct sourcing for senior-level roles.
  • Background in fashion, retail, or consumer brands, with strong knowledge of the UK fashion industry.
  • Expertise in sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, headhunting, networking, alumni networks, etc.).
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools (ATS - ideally Greenhouse, CRM, video interviewing and Automotion/AI tools).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach — you’re a team player who’s happy to pitch in when needed.

 

Location

This is a hybrid role based at least 3 days from our UK HQ on the outskirts of Solihull, UK.
