WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Quarkus, following architecture standards and software engineering best practices.
• Build and evolve high-availability, high-performance distributed systems.
• Write automated tests, including unit, integration, and contract tests, as a fundamental part of the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to application quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and incidents related to applications.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and build asynchronous integrations using Kafka or equivalent technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architecture, and other teams to build scalable solutions aligned with business needs.
• Support the evolution of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Contribute to application observability through logs, metrics, and monitoring.
• Participate in technology modernization, continuous improvement, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Share technical knowledge and support the development of other team members.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong software development expertise using Java and modern frameworks such as Quarkus or Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of messaging and asynchronous communication using Kafka or equivalent technologies.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with automated testing, including unit and integration tests.
• Knowledge of Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Experience working with AWS Cloud environments and container-based platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of application authentication, authorization, and security using OAuth2, JWT, or equivalent mechanisms.
• Ability to work autonomously in the development, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems integration.

Desirable Requirements

• Knowledge of card issuance systems, payment solutions, or banking platforms.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and modern software development patterns.
• Knowledge of application observability and monitoring.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Helm.
• Cloud Computing certifications, especially AWS.
• Participation in technical communities or open-source projects.
