Getnet Platforms is part of Santander Payment Solutions and brings together a set of key platforms within Santander’s global payments technology ecosystem. It includes software-as-a-service capabilities across the entire payments value chain, such as account-to-account processing, FX, SWIFT connectivity, fraud management and card processing infrastructure. 

It enables financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) and payment service providers (PSPs) to operate, scale and evolve their payment capabilities across multiple rails, markets and regulatory environments, without the need to rebuild their core systems.

The Legal team is at the heart of GetNet Platforms, being a truly integral part of the business. Our goal is to be the best partner for the business by being proactive, adding value and delivering high quality, commercially-focused, legal support. For this position you'll be based in São Paulo, Brasil.

📌 What you’ll do

-Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier and customer-facing SaaS contracts and material/critical outsourcing arrangements and providing advice on commercial, IT, IP and data protection aspects. 
-Providing company secretarial and governance support to GetNet Platforms’ subsidiaries in Brazil.
-Advising in relation to regulatory changes which present both an opportunity and challenge for the GetNet Platforms business, including regulations impacting payments, data, intellectual property, and financial services 
-Supporting ad hoc projects and transactions working closely with senior management, other GetNet legal teams and, where appropriate, external counsel 
-Keeping abreast of and contributing to industry consultations and internal training covering regulatory and market developments in financial services and payments innovation.

✅ What we’re looking for

- Native Portuguese speaker with C1 English or Spanish
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong experience advising on IT, IP and data protection law. 
- Strong experience of financial services regulation, including outsourcing and cybersecurity regulations.
- Law Degree

✅What can earn you extra points

- LLM in Data Protection or IT law
