What you’ll do

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining applications and processes that support critical payment services. You will also participate in technology migration initiatives, working closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to identify and coordinate the technical requirements needed for successful implementation.

 

What we’re looking for

 

• Experience in the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of systems.
• Hands-on experience in Java development.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, JSP, and XML.
• Experience with Oracle SQL, including DDL and DML.
• Knowledge of Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Pro*C and process compilation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor´s degree un Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented mindset, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

 

What can earn you extra points

 

• Knowledge of cloud environments or cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience in application or process migration projects.
• Knowledge of financial systems, payment methods, or banking processes.
• Knowledge of SPEI and SWIFT.
• Familiarity with the ISO 20022 financial messaging standard.
• Previous experience in the banking, financial services, or payments industry
