Corporate Development Analyst 

Madrid Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

Ebury’s strategic growth plan would not be possible without the Corporate Development team and we are seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join the team!

The Corporate Development team mission is to assist the business in its growth ambitions from different angles: expanding geographically, supporting mergers and acquisitions, entering into new verticals or business lines, analyzing and developing new business ideas and opportunities. 

This role will be centered in expanding into new markets and provide support for new licensing applications from a regulatory angle although will provide support in other corporate development initiatives. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing end-to-end projects to achieve organic and inorganic growth and operational efficiency 
  • Analyzing new regulatory landscapes and recommending optimal market entry strategies
  • Provide support on new licensing initiatives including: business plan development, regulatory form completion, organizational structure design, and more
  • Support geographical expansion through financial projections, adapting policies and procedures and control implementation
  • Provide regular and structured updates to stakeholders
  • Supporting the Corporate Development Team executing strategic plans
  • Analysing data to generate actionable growth initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with different teams to ensure key strategic projects are  successfully delivered
  • Continuously evaluate the impact of your work and adapt your plans accordingly

Background & competencies:

  • Degree in Law, Economics, Business Management or similar
  • Previous experience of minimum 1-2 years in consulting, regulated financial services or law firm
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Fluency in English is required
