Location: Ebury Canada - Toronto - office based working policy
Due to the rapid growth of our client book we are looking to expand our dealing coverage team in Canada. The role is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a small but exciting team, and gain a greater understanding of FX dealing.
About Ebury Canada
The Canadian offices are based out of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to provide clients with countrywide coverage. The Toronto office is one of the fastest growing offices in the group in terms of headcount and revenues and there is a huge opportunity for you to join this fast growing team.
Role & Responsibilities
In the dealing support role you will have responsibility for assisting our corporate dealing team with managing and maintaining our portfolio of clients, offering an optimum level of services. Dealing support activities include;
- Requesting quotes and booking trades with exotic currency LPs
- Handling client requests related to transactions and operations
- Handling screening and transaction monitoring inquiries
- Supporting with Trade Finance operations
- Keeping track of new procedures in dealing and operations
- Proactively sharing market updates and news with the corporate dealing team
- Handle a high volume of incoming requests via phone and email with the dealing team
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the processes within all departments including Screening, Operations, Reconciliation, Compliance, Trade Finance and Treasury
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
Experience
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the FX industry
- Interest and knowledge of the Financial markets
- Fluent in English and French
- Degree level education
- Strong mathematical/analytical background
- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure while working accurately and efficiently
- Fast learner with a high level of attention to detail
- Possess a positive, enthusiastic and motivated attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an excellent phone manner
