Innovation Community Manager

Job Title: Innovation Community Manager 

Location: Bremen, Germany (on-site) 

Position Type: Part-Time 24 to 30h

We empower student changemakers to become future-proof entrepreneurs while solving global challenges aligned with the UNSDG's. Operating in four key business areas, including the Synthesis Incubator, Academic Programs, entrepreneurship and innovation Consultancy and co-working, maker-space development, we foster a collaborative and dynamic community environment.

Position Overview: 

As an Innovation Community Manager, you will play a crucial role in nurturing a thriving ecosystem for young entrepreneurs. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for innovation and community building. You will be instrumental in executing impactful initiatives within Constructor Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Community Building:  

  • Cultivate and manage a network of youth entrepreneurs, creating a collaborative and supportive community both on campus and online. 
  • Develop and maintain a community platform to boost online and offline engagement. 
  • Serve as a point of contact for student clubs and assist them with hosting events, organizing facilitators, etc. 

Events and Workshops: 

  • Curate and execute workshops, fireside chats, and campus events to facilitate the exchange of ideas within the community and contributing to the campus life. 

Digital Communications Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement a robust social media strategy that includes social media plans, newsletters, and website content. Coordinate with marketing team to ensure cohesive and compelling presentation of programs and events. 

From mid 2025 onwards: Co-working & Makerspace Management: 

  • Manage the co-working space and makerspace, transforming them into vibrant hubs for creativity and collaboration. 

Qualifications: 

Professional Experience and Expertise:  

  • Experience in startups, entrepreneurship education. 
  • Deep understanding of entrepreneurship concepts and community building. 
  • Knowledge of startup ecosystems, particularly in Germany and Bremen. 

Skills and Abilities:  

  • Experience and Skills: Proven ability to work independently with strong organizational and project management skills. 
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using software tools for scheduling, communication, and data analysis. 
  • Adaptability and Language: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; fluency in English required, German preferred. 

Nice to have: 

Academic and Professional Background:  

  • Experience working at an academic institution. 
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business studies or entrepreneurship) or equivalent working experience (3-4 years). 

Specialized Knowledge:  

  • Experience with EXIST and other startup grants.
