The Role
As a member of the Professional Services team within our Insights Business Unit, you will lead the delivery of bespoke research projects designed to help our clients understand their brands, consumers, and industries — and take action with this knowledge. In this role, you will oversee operations for one of our key Insights accounts, delivering exceptional service while acting as a strategic consultant. You’ll identify opportunities to leverage digital consumer intelligence to generate impactful business insights.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations

Oversee service engagements with clients, managing the development, execution, and delivery of custom research projects, and serving as a strategic advisor within the Consumer Intelligence and Social Media space.

Effectively manage stakeholders and project teams of analysts, collaborating closely on deliverables and client relationships, and overseeing projects.

Represent Professional Services as a primary point of contact for the account and ensure project delivery is on time and on target.

Undertake complex data analysis to provide insights answering client business questions.

Create client deliverables and review analyst work for substance, accuracy, and language quality while offering constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.

Support and review commercial scoping to ensure quality pricing, discovery, and delivery.

Contribute to client-facing meetings and present research results to internal and external audiences.

Help develop new methodologies, delivery mechanisms, visualizations, external data integrations, and tools to deliver premier research capabilities.

Gain an understanding of the full range of Brandwatch products.

Stay up to date on industry trends and broader research developments.

Support the upskilling and development of team members.

Travel might be required for some clients, but it’s not the norm.
What Are We Looking For?
-
Excellent German and English language skills, written and verbal
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media/Public Relations, Business, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field
-
5+ years of research and consultancy experience with exposure to consumer insights and social media research

Ability to create compelling narratives and innovative data visualizations in report deliverables

Highly experienced with state-of-the-art social listening / monitoring / analytics tools, ideally Brandwatch or similar

Willingness and capacity to coach more junior team members

Superb business writing, communication, and presentation skills

Excellent organizational and project management skills

Technical aptitude for learning new software and conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses

Strong competency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables & charting), Word, and PowerPoint
