What is this role about?
As the Credit Manager in Estonia, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth in our well-established market. Collaboration is vital, as you’ll work closely with the Collections, Product, and Compliance teams to optimize our processes for peak performance and ensure full compliance with local regulations. This position combines the strategic responsibilities of a Credit Manager with hands-on involvement in data mining and analytics, making it an exciting and challenging opportunity to significantly impact our organization’s success.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of credit risk metrics and portfolio performance to uncover insights and trends.
- Lead the charge in delivering timely, accurate, and impactful risk assessments, findings, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the credit underwriting flow, identifying its strengths and opportunities for optimization to enhance credit performance.
- Proactively address any credit performance issues, ensuring swift escalation and collaboration with relevant parties to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Define and enforce comprehensive credit risk policies that align with the company’s risk appetite, internal protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Challenge status quo by conducting rigorous A/B testing on credit parameters, continuously refining and enhancing Credit Strategies for optimal results.
What would ensure success in this role?
- Deep knowledge of credit risk management practices and analytical tools.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, Tableau (or similar BI tools); knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Resilience, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
