As a Senior People Operations Specialist, you will foster a supportive and efficient environment, ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with labor laws. This role is key to accurate payroll, reliable HR systems, smooth administration, and effective office management. You will set up the office, prepare the legal entity for hiring, and create a seamless HR experience to support a productive workplace culture.

Your missions

  • Employee Onboarding: Design, maintain, and conduct comprehensive onboarding programs that utilize automated workflows and data-driven insights to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage day-to-day administrative responsibilities, including data input, answering inquiries, and overseeing payroll and reporting with a focus on automating routine tasks to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure full compliance with the Spanish legal requirements for hiring by implementing and maintaining automated processes for payroll, benefits, and HR systems, ensuring seamless data integration across platforms.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance HR processes by integrating automation solutions that minimize manual interventions, simplify workflows, and improve overall efficiency across the organization.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the highest standards of data accuracy across all HR systems by performing regular audits and utilizing automated data validation checks to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows that streamline HR processes, from onboarding to payroll, ensuring seamless data transfer between systems such as Workday or BambooHR.
  • Company-Wide Projects: Actively participate in cross-functional projects, bringing a data-driven, automated process perspective to broader HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and foster strong relationships with HR leaders, department heads, and key stakeholders, leveraging data insights and automation to improve collaboration and alignment across teams.
About you:
  • 5+ years of experience with a background in People Operations with a strong understanding of HR processes and practices in Spain.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, etc) such as HiBob, BambooHr, Workday, ADP, Greenhouse, Officevibe, etc
  • Proficiency in process mapping and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data management and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing excellent service to internal clients.
  • Passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of automation tools (UiPath, Zappier, etc) is a big plus.
