The Marketing Automation Specialist plays a crucial role as a central figure in the strategic implementation and fine-tuning of marketing automation tools aimed at elevating campaign performance, boosting lead generation, and fostering meaningful customer engagement. In this pivotal position, the specialist is tasked with not only crafting and executing automated marketing campaigns but also meticulously monitoring their progress and effectiveness. Furthermore, the specialist is responsible for delving into data analysis to extract valuable insights that inform ongoing enhancements, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the marketing automation framework. This specialist will collaborate with our wider marketing team to ensure the campaigns are executed successfully, providing the team with guidance on best practices.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for owning and administering our Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo)
- Work with teams to build functional campaigns and nurtures through email, marketing automation, CRM (Salesforce) and other marketing tools.
- Configure and maintain marketing automation workflows, triggers, and segmentation to personalise communications and improve targeting.
- Define and manage the customisation of our Marketing automation platform including scoring, multi-touch nurture, profiling, segmentation, workflows and reporting to support our campaigns.
- Conduct A/B testing and optimisation experiments to improve email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to marketing team members on marketing automation platforms and best practices.
- Create reporting dashboards and custom reports analysing campaign performance to provide actionable insights and bring forward ideas for continuous improvements
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in all marketing automation activities.
- Maintain an understanding of all stack integrations to create guides and documentation to support teammates in training.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing automation to recommend innovative strategies and tools.
