Principal DevOps/Platform Engineer (Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure)
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps / Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes-based infrastructure, cloud-native operations, observability, security, and automation. The role focuses on building resilient, scalable, secure, and automated platforms supporting modern microservices and infrastructure workloads across hybrid and private cloud environments, including OpenStack deployed on Kubernetes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
The Principal Devops Engineer should demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within complex distributed systems environments. A driven professional with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement. To possess a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering reliable solutions. With extensive experience working in complex platform engineering and cloud-native environments.
We are hiring a strategic, principal-level mindset with the ability to design and influence scalable architectures and technical direction. To have a proven ability to balance hands-on technical execution with high-level architectural decision-making. An effective collaborator with strong communication skills and the ability to work across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
We work on projects across multiple areas with varied clients, so the position of a Principal DevOps Engineer is critical in terms of the relevance of existing projects as well as ensuring the seamless growth of future ones, with this having special importance not only within the scope of the project but also within the Amdaris structure.
PRINCIPAL DEVOPS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize large-scale Kubernetes environments in production.
- Manage stateful workloads on Kubernetes: PostgreSQL (operators), MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, MinIO.
- Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and Helm.
- Build secure platforms using Kyverno, External Secrets, Cert-Manager, OpenBao, Keycloak.
- Manage networking using Cilium and Traefik.
- Implement autoscaling with KEDA.
- Build observability using Prometheus, Loki, Alloy.
- Implement backup and DR using Velero.
- Develop IaC using Terraform.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
- Automate with Bash and Python.
- Administer Linux and Docker environments.
- Deploy and operate OpenStack on Kubernetes.
- Incident response and RCA.
PRINCIPAL DEVOPS REQUIREMENTS
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (advanced, StatefulSets, operators).
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, MinIO.
- Proven experience with ArgoCD, Helm.
- Good knowledge of Terraform and Azure Pipelines.
- An understanding of tools in the Kubernetes ecosystem: Cilium and Traefik.
- Expertise with Prometheus, Loki, and Alloy.
- Operational proficiency with tools of modern Kubernetes platforms: Kyverno, Cert-Manager, External Secrets, OpenBao, Keycloak.
- Strong capabilities to use Velero and KEDA.
- Linux, Docker, Bash, Python.
- OpenStack on Kubernetes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and technical documentation.
- Problem-solving attitude.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- Large-scale Kubernetes production experience.
- Hybrid/private cloud experience.
- SRE practices.
- Security hardening and compliance.
- CKA/CKS/Terraform/OpenStack certifications.
