We’re looking for an energetic and people-driven Community & Events Intern to bring our brand to life across both digital and real-world touchpoints. In this role, you’ll manage and grow our social media community within the Instagram broadcast channel, create meaningful connections with our audience cross different platforms where they may be (Reddit, TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Instagram) and organize events that strengthen brand loyalty. You’ll also monitor trends and industry news to ensure we stay relevant and ahead of the curve.

Your responsibilities

  • Community Management: Engage with our audience across social channels: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions with authenticity and care with your Customer Engagement teamies. Build a thriving, loyal community by fostering conversation and creating a safe, inspiring space for interaction in the broadcast channel. Identify and nurture brand advocates to amplify our reach.
  • Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute community events (online and offline) that connect people and showcase the brand. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery and strong community participation. Collect feedback post-event to improve future activations.
  • Media Monitoring & Insights: monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and cultural conversations. Share regular insights and reports with the wider team to inform content, campaigns, and brand strategy.
  • Content Collaboration: Work closely with the creator marketing and social organic team to propose new content ideas rooted in community needs and trends. Contribute to storytelling by elevating community voices and showcasing user-generated content.

 

This is you 

  • You are studying in a relevant field or have recently graduated and want to complete a practical, hands-on internship for 6 months.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences both online and offline.
  • You have proven experience in community management and/or event organization.
  • You have excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and culture!
  • You have organizational and project management skills with great attention to detail.
  • You are a creative thinker, able to translate insights into engaging community experiences.
  • You have very good English skills (at least C1 level), and multi-language skills (German, French, Italian, Dutch) are a big plus.
  • You are based in Munich or open to relocating.
