The Challenge 🧩

We’re looking for a Pricing Specialist to take one of Wallapop’s most powerful growth levers, Pricing, to the next level.

You will design and optimise pricing models across all our business areas (Transactional, Visibility, Pros, and Motor) to help us build a sustainable and data-driven monetisation engine.

Your work will shape how millions of users interact with Wallapop’s ecosystem every day, ensuring our prices create value for both our customers and our business.

This role sits within Operations and collaborates closely with Business Owners, Product Managers, Finance, and Data Science teams.

 

What You Will Do 👇

• Design and execute experiments to test pricing hypotheses, elasticity, and user response across different product lines.
• Build data-driven models to predict the impact of pricing changes on conversion, take rate, and revenue.
• Develop and optimise pricing strategies for Shipping and Protection fees, Visibility promotions, and Wallapop Pro subscriptions, driving incremental revenue and customer value.
• Partner with business and product stakeholders to establish clear testing roadmaps, define success metrics, and prioritise experiments based on impact and feasibility.
• Analyse transactional data and user behaviour to uncover monetisation opportunities. Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations and business cases.
• Work closely with Product, Finance, and Data Science to align pricing with product strategy, improve monetisation models, and deliver cohesive user experiences.

 

What We’re Looking For 🔎

• 3–6 years of experience in pricing, analytics, strategy, or monetisation roles, ideally within digital platforms, marketplaces, or tech companies.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement in ambiguous circumstances.
• Data-driven and pragmatic approach, with an advanced level of experience working with large data-sets and using data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to influence decisions with an impact on the P&L.
• Experience with financial modelling and the ability to build robust business cases.
• Structured approach to experiment design and A/B testing, with a focus on measuring elasticity and revenue impact.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of aligning with cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making.
• Business proficiency in English. Spanish is a plus.

 

What Would Be A Plus 🚀 (optional***)

• Experience in consumer marketplaces, classifieds, or subscription-based business models.

 

Do note that all our jobs are 📍 Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.

What does the hiring process for this position look like? 👀**Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**

1. Intro Call - run by talent acquisition, focus on providing more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience, motivation, and expectations. This usually takes 30- 45 minutes.
2. Task + Expertise Interview: you will be assigned a task to submit in 4-5 days where you will be able to showcase your expertise / technical skills required for the role. The interview will be run by the hiring team, focusing on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 60.
3. Stakeholder Interview - run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross-functional set-up. This usually takes 60 minutes.
4. Culture-Add Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes.
5. Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
