Field Marketing Manager APAC
Vertice was launched in 2022 to build a new way to manage SaaS and cloud spend. One that’s fair, totally transparent, and designed for modern businesses. Today, Vertice manages over $3.4 billion in spend for hundreds of customers in over 30 countries and is headquartered in London with offices in New York, Brno, Sydney and Singapore.
And we’re just getting started. Founded by successful serial entrepreneurs Roy Tuvey and Eldar Tuvey, Vertice has been on an incredible growth trajectory, with a remarkable 7X revenue growth in 2023. With over $50 million in funding from leading investors Bessemer Venture Partners and 83 North, we are expanding our reach across regions and product lines.
If you are ambitious, want to make an impact and be part of a highly talented and driven team, come and join us on this journey to build a new way to manage technology spend!
Your role at Vertice:
We operate in an extremely exciting but also competitive segment of the market. And to compete, we must deliver the right messages to the right audiences at the right time. That’s where you come in.
We have a great content team, producing compelling messages and assets in multiple media formats; a superb campaign team who are creating reasons to engage with us online and offline; and a smart product marketing team who are helping our prospects and customers see the incontestable benefits of using our product over and above the competition.
But we need you to help us make sure we are successfully targeting our local APAC audience - and that they see the most appropriate message at the most appropriate time.
The successful candidate will have done this before in B2B, and ideally in B2B SaaS, and will be comfortable - if anything, excited - by this being both a strategic and tactical role.
Responsibilities
- Identify the APAC events, media partners and other third parties who we should engage with through physical and digital channels in order to reach our finance and procurement target audience.
- Engage with these partners to build cost-effective and ROI-focused packages of a suitable mix of brand-building and lead-generating activities.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of the materials to support and feed these activities, ranging from trade show booth materials, to co-ordinating speakers and creating content for webinars.
- Lead our attendance at events, representing our brand, engaging with organisers and supporting our sales team.
- Work closely with the growth marketing team to ensure our local events and sponsorships are fully supported and tied in with wider campaign initiatives.
- Work closely with the local BDR and AE team to ensure local activities are capitalized on and ROI is delivered.
- Provide proactive recommendations and feedback on the local strategy and individual activities - all with a focus on continuous improvement and ROI.
- Act as the local representative of the global marketing team, and assist in wider marketing initiatives, ranging from local PR support, to securing customer case studies, supporting customer marketing activities, and presenting to local internal teams.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a B2B events marketing role
- Experience working with BDR / AE teams
- Exceptional project management skills
- Creativity and an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with senior-level executives.
- A demonstrable equal balance of focus on ROI and creativity
Things we like to see:
- Proven self-starter and individual contributor mentality
- Strong work ethic with a “get stuff done” mentality
- An aptitude for both copywriting and messaging, plus numbers and data
- A helpful, humble attitude that loves participating in the fostering of a healthy and happy work culture
- A natural creativity and curiosity to try new things - to commit to an ambitious plan and co-create a memorable and meaningful company. Autonomy is a highly valued quality.
Why join Vertice?
- Be a part of a fast-growing, innovative startup that is changing the way businesses buy and sell SaaS.
- Work with passionate and talented teams that value your contributions and expertise.
- Be part of a culture that promotes a growth mindset, transparency, collaboration, understanding and diversity.
- Share in our success with equity options.
