About the Role:

As an Inside Partner Manager at Veeam, you will play a critical role in driving partner success across the West region through strategic collaboration, enablement, and revenue-focused execution. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of partners, identifying growth opportunities within their install base, and driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

This role requires a high level of channel experience, with a strong understanding of partner ecosystems, partner-led sales motions, and how to effectively engage, enable, and grow partners.

You will act as an extension of both the partner and Veeam sales teams — aligning on joint business plans, enabling partners on Veeam solutions, and helping drive pipeline, deal progression, and long-term growth.

This is a fast-paced, highly visible role requiring a proactive, self-motivated individual with strong communication skills, business acumen, and a passion for building partner relationships.

ALSO NOTE:  Compensation is determined based on Geo-Zones as listed by state within this posting (the mid-point/middle of the zone range is what is budgeted for this role, so please ensure your target/expected comp is aligned)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of Focus Partners across the West region
  • Drive pipeline creation and revenue growth through partner-led motions
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing install base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partner stakeholders and sales teams
  • Develop, execute, and track joint business and action plans with partners
  • Identify opportunities using tools such as Expansion IQ and align with internal sales teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with ISRs, Field Sellers, SEs, and Distribution to progress opportunities
  • Support partners with quoting, licensing, product positioning, and deal strategy
  • Drive partner engagement through trainings, webinars, and in-person sessions
  • Ensure alignment with the Veeam ProPartner Program, including certifications, compliance, and tier growth
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and CRM (Salesforce) hygiene
  • Keep partners informed on Veeam messaging, promotions, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Travel to partner sites and events to strengthen relationships and accelerate business

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or high-volume/velocity sales
  • Strong understanding of the channel ecosystem and partner-led sales motions
  • Proven ability to build pipeline and drive revenue through partners
  • Experience identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell strategies
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business audiences
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to forecasting and pipeline management
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of data protection, cloud, or virtualization technologies is a plus

Travel Requirement:

  • Approximately 25% travel required (partner meetings, events, QBRs)

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.

Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Boroughs

$124,600 - $207,700 USD

Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area)

$114,200 - $190,300 USD

Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona

$103,800 - $173,000 USD

Zone 4: All other US locations

$90,300 - $150,500 USD
