About the Role
As an Site Reliability Engineer II, you will join our growing global SRE team supporting the Veeam Data Cloud. This is an early-career opportunity ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who is eager to grow their experience in cloud infrastructure, observability, and modern reliability practices.
You will work closely with senior engineers, learning how to support production systems, automate operations, and improve service availability. With mentorship and hands-on project work, you will gain exposure to the full SRE lifecycle, from incident response to systems design.
What You’ll Do
Foundations of Reliability Engineering

Assist in implementing and maintaining observability tooling including metrics, logs, and traces.

Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and on-call documentation.

Support development and maintenance of deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
Learning Through Experience

Shadow senior engineers during incident response and participate in post-incident reviews.

Work on scoped automation tasks to reduce toil and improve team efficiency.

Document processes and contribute to internal runbooks and playbooks.

Respond to customer support escalations
Team Collaboration

Engage in technical discussions and design reviews to learn and contribute.

Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.

Ask questions, seek feedback, and embrace a continuous learning mindset.
What You’ll Bring

1-3 years of professional experience in software or systems engineering.

Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, automation, or cloud systems.

Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript).

Foundational knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud fundamentals.

Strong desire to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Bonus Skills

Exposure to public cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

Academic projects or internships involving monitoring, automation, or distributed systems.
