Territory Sales Senior Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Territory Manager to drive revenue growth by developing and closing business with both Government and Private sector customers within the assigned territory.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and working closely with partners and internal teams to successfully execute complex sales cycles. You will play a key role in building strategic relationships with customers and partners while positioning Veeam’s solutions to address their data resilience and business continuity needs.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business opportunities within Government and Private sector accounts, while expanding existing customer relationships through upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach and targeted prospecting activities.
- Collaborate with the regional sales team, including Systems Engineers, to qualify opportunities and deliver compelling product demonstrations.
- Drive deals to closure in partnership with Veeam channel partners under the tier-two sales model.
- Achieve individual and team revenue targets within the assigned territory.
- Leverage opportunities generated by partners and engage directly with end users and customers.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to maximize revenue growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional selling efforts with Inside Sales, Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and other internal teams.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and account information in Salesforce CRM.
- Engage with Veeam Strategic Alliance partners to create mutually beneficial revenue opportunities.
- Participate in and support local marketing initiatives and events within the territory.
- Travel within the assigned region as needed to support business development and customer engagement.
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in software sales, ideally within enterprise or infrastructure technology environments.
- Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals using a consultative sales approach.
- Strong experience managing sales cycles and building relationships with enterprise customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience working with channel partners, distributors, and value-added resellers (VARs).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with solution selling and value-based sales methodologies.
- Experience working with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

- Experience selling through channel-driven sales models.
- Familiarity with data protection, backup, and data resilience solutions.
- Previous experience working with government or public sector accounts.
