Veeam's recent launch of Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) for Salesforce creates a massive opportunity for growth, and we're seeking an exceptional leader to drive this business forward. You'll head our global Salesforce specialist sales team, directly impacting Veeam's expansion in the SaaS data protection market while building high-performing sales and technical teams targeting one of the world's largest enterprise SaaS ecosystems. 

Reporting to the WW Specialist Sales leader & GM of VDC Salesforce, you'll oversee a global team of sales and technical specialists who serve as subject matter experts working with regional field teams to increase win rates, grow deal sizes, and shorten sales cycles. Your team will lead complex deals, demonstrate value, and secure technical wins across varying opportunity scopes. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and lead a high-performing global team of Salesforce sales and technical specialists 
  • Achieve revenue targets and growth across Veeam’s Salesforce backup offerings globally 
  • Collaborate with regional account teams to execute New, Expand, and Cross-sell strategies 
  • Develop territory plans, deliver accurate forecasts, and master competitive positioning 
  • Partner with product teams on roadmap priorities and customer feedback integration 

Day-to-Day Impact 

 

  • Drive sales fundamentals across the business (pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, win rates) 
  • Provide weekly global forecasts with rigorous deal qualification 
  • Ensure strategic deals have the right Field + Specialist pursuit teams engaged 
  • Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and enablement 
  • Engage directly with strategic customers and deals  
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with regional sales leadership 
  • Build strategic relationships across the Salesforce ecosystem 
  • Create and scale a repeatable "win formula" through documented sales tactics 
  • Represent Veeam at key Salesforce events to build brand awareness and generate leads 

Qualifications 

 

  • 10+ years enterprise software sales experience with technical depth, and/or 5+ years of front-line sales management  
  • Demonstrated ability to lead both sales and technical pre-sales teams 
  • Experience forecasting, qualifying deals, and consistently exceeding revenue targets 
  • Strong technical aptitude capable of handling multiple layers of technical questions without SE support 
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and market dynamics 
  • Experience in a Specialist + Field sales model and partner-driven go-to-market 
  • Strong relationship building with strategic clients and partners 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% with occasional global travel 

 

Preferred qualifications include:  

  • Experience with cloud-native backup solutions 
  • Knowledge of regional data protection requirements and compliance standards 
  • Salesforce or ISV partner background 
  • Experience selling SaaS data protection solutions

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

United States of America Pay Range

$269,500 - $385,000 USD
