LOCATION REQUIREMENT: 50 miles of Seattle Washington
As a Pre-Sales Enterprise Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives by focusing on our largest enterprise accounts. Your deep technical expertise and strategic insight will enable you to understand complex customer needs, craft tailored solutions, and effectively communicate the value of our offerings to key decision-makers. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent Veeam Systems Engineer with the ability to partner with other groups within Veeam to close sales. The role requires strengths and a background in defining architectural strategies to guide customers toward adopting Veeam technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored for C-level audiences, clearly articulating how our solutions can drive business transformation and deliver measurable value
- Implement and manage POCs to technical closure
- Support lead-generation activities such as events, webinars, and user groups
- Collaborate with the customer/partner to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements
- Independently consult with the customer base to provide technical expertise on data resiliency
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to position our offerings effectively against competitors in discussions with senior leadership
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer role, specifically engaging with large enterprise accounts
- Proven track record of successfully leading pre-sales efforts within large accounts and driving sales growth through strategic engagement with IT leadership
- Experience creating tailored proposals and RFP responses with large enterprise accounts
- Industry-based experience in storage, networking, security, and virtualization
- In-depth knowledge of top accounts in the covered territory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be able to present to large groups
We are looking for someone who is a high-energy, motivated self-starter who can learn new technology quickly
Experience with cloud or SaaS solutions is a PLUS.
Note that 25% travel within the assigned territory is required

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
United States of America Pay Range
$150,000 - $214,300 USD
