The role
As a Alternance Google Cloud & AI Engineer (all genders), you will spend your final year of engineering school building impactful solutions on Google's Cloud and AI stack—including agent-based architectures and cloud infrastructure.
This 1-year work-study role (alternance) bridges hands-on development and client advisory: you will divide your time between building demos and prototypes, co-facilitating client workshops with mentors, and delivering production-ready Google Cloud AI projects. As a final-year engineering apprentice, you will be fully integrated into technical teams, paired directly with Senior Architects for mentorship.
You will thrive in this role if you are:
- Curious about agentic architectures, generative models, and the broader Google ecosystem.
- Eager to bridge real-world business needs with AI-driven technical architecture.
- Energized by fast-paced prototyping—proofs of concept, demos, and MVPs—while learning how to architect for enterprise scale.
- Collaborative, proactive, and ready to absorb knowledge from senior mentors while contributing to team success.
- Comfortable presenting technical concepts to both engineering teams and non-technical client stakeholders.
Role responsibilities
-
Build
· Co-design and develop AI/Cloud demos, proofs of concept (PoCs), and interactive prototypes for clients.
· Contribute to greenfield AI-native applications and modernize existing cloud-native software.

Advise & Facilitate
· Shadow and support Senior Architects in client solution workshops centered on enterprise AI use cases.
·Help translate client business requirements into technical narratives and live AI demonstrations.
· Assist with technical pre-sales activities, including demo preparation and architecture proposal support.
Deliver
· Implement scalable, secure AI solutions on GCP under senior guidance.
· Collaborate with engineering teams on release processes, CI/CD, and AI/Cloud best practices.
· Produce clear, high-quality technical documentation and solution designs (providing real-world material for your end-of-studies thesis / mémoire).
