The Role  

We are looking for a Fluent OMS Developer to design, configure, and implement order orchestration, fulfillment, and inventory workflows using Fluent Commerce Order Management System. The role focuses on event-driven order lifecycles, integrations, scalability, and business rules, supporting enterprise commerce ecosystems.

• Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement order orchestration flows using Fluent OMS
• Configure order lifecycle, fulfillment, routing, split, and cancellation rules
• Implement inventory visibility, ATP/ATS, and sourcing logic
• Develop and customize Fluent workflows, rules, and policies
• Build and maintain event-driven integrations with commerce platforms (SAP Commerce, Salesforce, Magento, etc.)
• Integrate with ERP, WMS, TMS, payment, and logistics systems
• Configure store fulfilment, ship-from-store, click & collect, and returns
• Develop and consume APIs and webhooks
• Support cloud deployments, environments, and release cycles
• Troubleshoot order and fulfillment issues; provide L3 production support
• Collaborate with architecture, commerce, DevOps, and QA teams
• Prepare technical documentation and solution designs

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience working with Fluent Commerce OMS
• Strong understanding of order management concepts:
  • Order lifecycle
  • Fulfillment orchestration
  • Inventory management
  • Returns & exchanges

• Hands-on experience with Fluent rules, workflows, and events
• Experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, and JSON
• Solid understanding of event-driven and microservices architectures
