The role
We are looking for a Senior SEO Analyst with a strong technical foundation, analytical depth, and strategic mindset to support SEO initiatives across enterprise-level websites. This role involves hands-on analysis, implementation guidance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organic search strategies align with evolving search landscapes, business goals, and digital experience standards.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in content strategy, technical SEO, log file analysis, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and multilingual/multi-market environments, alongside a solid understanding of how AI-powered search experiences (e.g. generative search, RAG-based systems, and fan-out queries) are reshaping organic discovery.
You will work closely with development, content, UX, analytics, and product teams to research, prioritize, and execute SEO improvements that drive measurable performance impact.
Role responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page), identifying issues and opportunities across large-scale, enterprise websites.
- Analyze and interpret log files to assess crawl behavior, indexation efficiency, and technical bottlenecks, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Guide and validate the implementation of SEO best practices, including structured data (JSON-LD), hreflang, crawl optimization, rendering logic, and internal linking strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical SEO issues, including page speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, and performance trade-offs.
- Analyze SEO performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio, turning data into actionable insights and clear narratives for stakeholders.
- Contribute to keyword research, search intent analysis, and content optimization strategies, grounded in qualitative and quantitative research.
- Stay current on search engine algorithm updates, AI-driven search developments, competitive movements, and emerging technical trends, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Support site migrations, redesigns, and localization efforts from an SEO perspective, ensuring performance is protected and enhanced.
- Produce clear documentation, reports, and presentations that communicate SEO insights, recommendations, and impact to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advocate for SEO best practices by ensuring organic search considerations are integrated into product, content, and digital roadmap discussions.
Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including strong exposure to technical SEO in enterprise or large-scale environments.
- Proven experience conducting technical audits and log file analysis to diagnose crawl, indexation, and rendering issues.
- Strong proficiency with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Botify, or Oncrawl.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to effectively communicate technical requirements to developers.
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as Optimizely or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Comfortable operating in multilingual and multi-regional SEO contexts, including hreflang, localization, and content targeting.
- Solid understanding of GA4, Google Search Console, and data visualization platforms such as Looker Studio.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to synthesize data, industry trends, and experimentation into clear strategic direction.
- Strong presentation and reporting skills, capable of explaining complex SEO topics to a range of stakeholders.
Nice to have qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of AI-powered search experiences, including generative search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and fan-out query models, and their implications for SEO.
- Experience working with websites in regulated industries (e.g. healthcare, finance).
- Familiarity with Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs) and their impact on SEO scalability and governance.
- Understanding of consent management platforms and how SEO tools interact with privacy and compliance layers (e.g. cookie banners).
- Exposure to server-side SEO setups and advanced performance optimization techniques (e.g. edge caching, lazy loading).
- Experience using Python or Google Colab for SEO analysis, automation, or experimentation.
If you do not meet all the listed qualifications or have gaps in your experience, we still encourage you to apply. At Valtech, we recognize that talent comes in many forms, and we value diverse perspectives and a willingness to learn.
