The Opportunity

Valtech is looking for a Business Development Director to drive our continued growth across Denmark. 

You love the intersection of design, data and strategy with digital solutions. You understand the consultancy world — because you’ve been in it — and you can translate digital jargon into boardroom strategy. Whether it’s B2B or B2C, you know how to identify business challenges and shape digital solutions that make a real impact. You’re not just a seller — you’re a trusted advisor, capable of guiding clients through transformation journeys that touch every part of their business.

You’ll lead the charge in acquiring new enterprise clients, driving strategic conversations across industries like Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, and more. Working with toptier clients and global brands, you’ll play a key role in scaling Valtech’s presence across the region. Backed by the One Valtech global delivery model, you’ll collaborate with teams of strategists, creatives, technologists, and data specialists to deliver full-service digital solutions that matter.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Represent Valtech as a go-to-market leader and consultative sales partner in Denmark
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy focused on acquiring net new clients across key sectors
  • Take ownership of the full end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, solution design, pitch, and closure
  • Lead RFP responses and pitch teams with a strong focus on value-based selling and consultative engagement
  • Leverage existing networks and contacts to forge key new business relationships
  • Drive a high-quality pipeline through outbound efforts, inbound leads, partner referrals, and your own network
  • Collaborate with the regional marketing and demand generation team to support lead generation activities and campaigns
  • Work closely with Valtech’s strategic technology partners in the region — including Adobe, Optimizely, Contentful and others — to identify and close co-sell opportunities
  • Stay up to date with Valtech case studies, capabilities, and the evolving digital services landscape
  • Actively participate in networking events, industry forums and partner activations across the region

Must Have Experience/Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in business development / sales within a digital agency or consulting environment
  • Experience selling complex multi-year engagements across digital experience, strategy, data and technology implementation
  • Existing network in Denmark ideally including enterprise decision-makers and C-level contacts
  • Confident leading consultative sales conversations and delivering compelling business cases
  • Comfortable owning and delivering on multi-million revenue targets
  • Strong knowledge of Nordic industry landscapes, particularly in Retail, Finance, Manufacturing, or Life Sciences
  • Personal drive to get things done right and fast, with the ability to adapt to change with urgency
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
  • Ability to influence and engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in Danish & English
